Good Girls Finish Last…
Guys are gonna be guys I get. As I sit at this massive party enjoying my ahi tuna and shrimp, my guy friend asks me “Where’s the guy you’ve been dating?” I tell him, “Well he couldn’t make it.” Hmmmmm….this gets the wheels turning in my friend’s head then he responds, “It’s because you’re only a piece of ass to him and you’re just an option never a priority. You know why, because you’re a good girl!” As I took these words hitting me like a spiked bat, I couldn’t help sit there in shock and silence. It’s because I’m reliable, sweet, and caring that makes me in the group of “Good Girls” where we’re all a good catch but not the one guys chose to be with. Why is this I ask??? I decided to do some research with some guys and here are the results:
Guy #1 The Committer (A guy who wants to be an a relationship and find love and marriage): “I’m all about the Good Girls but they never go for guys like me, so I just stop chasing after those kinds of chicks”
Guy #2 The Player (A good-looking guy that always finds some girl to swoon over him but never commits): “Good-looking guys like me and my friends we’re all about the chase, we want or chase what ever we can’t have! Good Girls they’re just so predictable and caring that we got them wrapped around our fingers (meaning good girls get boring)
Guy #3 The Gay BFF (The fabulous gay guy friend that every good girl has) “Well all guys are dogs and sometimes bad girls are the only ones that can train them into shape, they just walk over Good Girls!”
Taking these very interesting and eye-opening answers, I’ve been thinking…WTF?!! I’m a Good Girl that’s independent, hard-working, smart, funny, and pretty that if the guy that I’m seeing rather be sleeping with other girls behind my back, then he’s just not the one. Maybe Good Girls finish last but I still believe that at that finish line there will be a GOOD GUY to greet me. So to all my research subjects you can think what you think, but I’m gonna keep having hope because patience is a virtue and GOOD things do happen to those who wait…
